Together with our partner Vermeer, Treescape made Pink Stumps Day charity cricket event a brilliant success!
A part of that may well have been the men (and women) wearing hot pink tutu’s while competing in several rounds of cricket.
Thousands visited the Loganholme Cricket Club to enjoy market stalls, jumping castles, face painting, and to be entertained by the cricket games taking place center field.
Treescape was the main sponsor of the event and managed to raise $10,500 for the McGrath Foundation.
The major focus of the organisation is to fund McGrath Breast Care Nurses who provide invaluable support and care to women and men experiencing breast cancer.
We are proud to announce that we exceeded our fundraising target, with money from the other sponsors still being counted. Stall holders on the day also generously donated their profits, which helped to beef up the overall contribution.
The event was well attended by local MP’s, councilors and other local dignitaries. The local radio station also broadcasted live from the event during the day.
A big thank you to everyone who played a part in making the day such a success, especially Craig and Kellie from Vermeer, the Logan City Council, and the Loganholme Cricket Club.
Treescape would also like to thank our partners Vermeer, CG Recruitment, IQS Solutions, Groundworks Australia, Traffic Control Innovations, Millard Tyre Centre Yatala, and Kennards Hire who contributed substantially towards meeting the fund raising target.
